I've been using Ant for the last 3 or 4 years for building "traditional" software and have even written about its usefulness for deploying web applications (which I have far more experience with). It's a tool that has no peer I've ever found.

If NAnt is anywhere near as good for the .NET environment then you won't regret the decision.

Hi, Tony

Congratulations for moving to NAnt. Take a look at NAnt Wizard (www.nantwizard.com) also. This small tool can became handy complement to NAnt itself.

Hi,
thanks for the positive comment: we had just few bat files, like: installSiteServices, installGlobalServices, build and buildWithTests, mainly shortcuts to msbuild targets.
But in other projects I sow also bat files calling (n)ant files calling bat files calling (n)ant files!
