Beyond Test Driven Development: Behaviour Driven Development – Google Video
I’ve just sow this interesting presentation by Dave Astels on BDD.
Interesting the quotation on the last slide:
“I always thought Smalltalk would beat Java, I just didn’t know it would be called ‘Ruby’ when it did.†— Kent Beck
A good start for BDD can be rSpec, take a look to this tutorial.
There’s also a good article by Dan, here: http://dannorth.net/introducing-bdd/
I think that I’ll try to join the prj asap
Another Article here: http://abc.truemesh.com/archives/000467.html from the blog of Chris Matts.
I was spiking a bit with Jbehave today and I really like it, thanks also to Elizabeth Keogh for explaining me how the stuff works!
She’s really a cool dev!
An Interesting weekend in Italy
I’ll fly back to Italy (after a lot of time actually) the 30th ready for the Agile Day in Milano, I’ve just checked the program and it’s coool! Then I’ll go in the night in Rome to the Java Day… I’m looking forward to meet friends & former collegues, and also to have a Milanese in Milano and a Carbonara in Rome, of course!
X-Series, am I dreaming?
Many thanks to Alberto for the tip on this. Looks incredible fantastic and I’ll go asap into an H3G shop to ask for prices… I’m a bit scared of that… But the direction finally is the good one!
X-Series
X-Series from 3 is Your World. MobileFree phone calls to Skype users. Free instant messaging to your buddies. Unlimited search and internet surfing. Your TV on the move. Your PC on your mobile. Your life where you go.
Free when you use itWhy should you pay per minute, per message, per click, per megabit? In the real world, you buy your PC, pay for broadband and that’s it. Our principle is simple – X-Series customers will only pay a flat access fee on top of their basic subscription and then what’s free to use on the internet should be free to use on mobile broadband (subject to fair usage and international roaming conditions, of course).
Simply the bestWe’ve partnered with the brightest stars from the broadband universe to mobilise the essential tools of the internet. That’s Skype, Sling, Orb, Yahoo!, Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger, eBay and Google. With more to come.
Always on, high speed access to the InternetIt’s why we built our high speed broadband network. Always-on, high-speed access to the Internet. Plus a bunch of new services that – until now – were pure fantasy.
Internet to GoUse your mobile to take the stuff you love doing at home onto the street. Mobile broadband connects your PC, TV or music system to your mobile life. New X-Series mobiles deliver a true broadband experience – wherever you go.
When and how to get X-SeriesX-Series will be available through our own stores and all our internet sites, starting in the UK in December and in 3’s other markets around the world in early 2007. Check your local country website for X-Series pricing, availability, usage and service mix.
Java2Me.Org forum
Finally I’ve found a good forum software, I think that I’ve lost all my users on forum.java2me.org wich was “freezed “since this summer running the crap phpBB2 (spam problems, old layout, difficult to add features), btw maybe some one will come back, and as fair as I’ve seen till now bbPress is really a good application, with tags for the posts and powerfull antispam controls like here in wordpress.
bbPress is forum software with a twist from the creators of WordPress.
